AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian and Russian air forces carried out a series of airstrikes over the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate on Sunday, targeting the extremist rebels at the villages of Khan Sheikhoun, Sukeek, and Al-Taman’ah near the Hama border.
According to a source at the Hama Military Airport, the Syrian and Russian air forces conducted two dozen airstrikes over the southern Idlib countryside, killing several enemy combatants from the Syrian Al-Qaeda groups “Jund Al-Aqsa” and “Jabhat Al-Nusra.”
Recently, Jund Al-Aqsa has intensified their assault against the Syrian government forces along the free commerce road in southern Idlib; this has resulted in an increase in aerial activity inside this province.
