Coincident with the night of the Prophet (S.A.W.) first revelation, two Christian women uttered formulae of faith to convert to Islam in the Razavi Holy Shrine.
On the night of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) first revelation, two Christian ladies uttered formulae of faith and embraced Islam with attempts of the experts of the Management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi.
“Rachel Louise Clarei, 39 from Australia and Julia Zoter, 29 from Germany were two Christian women who converted to Islam Shi’ite after attending in the Razavi Holy Shrine and having a talk with the religious experts of the office”, said Director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi.
Congratulating the Muslim converts in this ceremony, Sayed Muhammad Javad Hasheminejad addressed the ladies, “We live in an arena that in parallel with growth and enlightening of the nations, we are facing a large scale attack by people who try to avoid meeting of the divine religions and ideologies, ruin the proximity of the nations, and distort the face of the nations.”
“According to the statistics, Islam is currently the second dominant religion in Europe and the west that is attended by the intellectuals, and conversion of large groups of the youth to Islam is a considerable phenomenon”, he pointed out.
“At present, 90 percent of the world media and broadcasting is possessed by those who try to incite their intended thoughts to other people and the proximity of the nation has threatened them”, he added.
“Unfortunately, the hostile attacks to Islam and Muslims has started since 30 years ago by Salman Rushdie’s book and is continued until now in different forms”, he continued.
“Such people have attempted any tricks to reach their vicious goals, from creating terroristic groups to committing the most horrible crimes, in order to oppose to Islam and kill Muslims; this is what the western politicians have referred to many times, trying to distort the face of Islam”, Hasheminejad added.
“Hence, having a deep and precise look at Islam and its concepts becomes important and we hope that this attendance in the Holy Shrine provides a ground for reveling of further thoughts about religion and creation for you”, Director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi said to the ladies.
Noting that according to the Islamic sources, one hour of contemplation is superior to 70 years of thoughtless worshipping and this indicates the high position of deeply thinking in Islam, he remarked, “Islam emphasizes that when you accept the religion you should study and contemplate deeply about it.
