Syrian Air Force drops thousands of leaflets over northern Homs: “surrender now”

The Syrian Army is preparing for another large-scale offensive in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate after several unsuccessful attempts to break into the strategic city of Al-Rastan near the Hama border.

However, unlike their last few offensives in northern Homs, the Syrian Armed Forces are in much better position to strike Al-Rastan; especially, after they captured Al-Khalidiyah last Fall.

As part of the build up for this offensive, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) dropped thousands of leaflets over the northern countryside of Homs that read “surrender now”.

The likelihood of the extremist rebels surrendering is far fetched; however, it seems that the Syrian Armed Forces are committed to launching this new offensive in the coming days.
