Iraqi F-16 aircraft targeted some significant ISIS locations in Nineveh province, including a communication centre and a munitions cache, the Iraqi army's joint operations command said in a statement today on April 9.
The statement reads that the Iraqi air force destroyed a number of IS central locations such as communication and surveillance camera centre, and a munitions cache.
The IS communication and surveillance camera system centre was used for monitoring the battles to help the snipers and the artilleries in Gayara and other areas near Mosul, the statement continues.
Iraqi F-16 aircraft has also targeted an IS base containing Iraqi and foreign terrorists in Hawija, the statement added.
