AhlulBayt News Agency - Local sources said here that new military enforcement arrived to be stationed between Arbil and Mosul cities, amid continued Daesh (ISIS) military attacks in the area.
The enforcements arrived after one day of Daesh bombardment of the Iraqi forces stationed in special sites south of Mosul city.
The Iraqi army is stationed in Makhmour area, south west of Arbil city, which is one of the conflicting areas with the federal government in Baghdad.
On the other side, according to a statement by Abu Mehdi al-Muhandis, deputy chairman of the Popular Mobilization Forces, was quoted that today, Sunday, is the start of the second phase of military operations in Mosul, following the victories achieved in Salahal-din province.
Salahal-din victories repelled any threat against Shiite holy shrines in Samarra' city.
In addition, it was reported that the Kurdish Peshmarga counterattacked a wide-scale Da'ish attack near Mosul, which was the second on the same day.
The sources reported that Da'ish made the attack through its gunmen and bombed vehicles on three axises near the Peshmarga forces in Gowair area.
