Following the departure of Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi, Mahdi Azizian, deputy custodian Astan Quds Razavi, issued a message and expressed his condolence to Imam Mahdi (A.S.), the Supreme Leader, and all the public.
This message is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the compassionate, the merciful
For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds. (Sajdah, 19)
Scientists are inheritors of prophecy and diligent people are guardians of treasuries of security. At the moment, a very unique character of this group of people has departed toward the hereafter. A man who tried, alongside with the Musavi and Nabavi offspring and like a very small particle before the enormous Razavi sun, all his lifetime to change the holy city of Mashhad into a spiritual capital for the country and a glorious paradise for the pilgrims and devotees of the divine teachings.
A few hours ago, Astan Quds Razavi said goodbye to its diligent and industrious custodian. Grand soul of Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi left the sickly body of this devoted scientist among the sad and sorrowful circle of his companions and colleagues.
The departure of the grand servant of the holy sanctuary of the eighth Imam (A.S.), Hazrat Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.), which happened concurrent with the ten days of Fatimiya dressed the entire province and the Razavi Holy Shrine in black.
The old pupil of the school of piety and virtue, preacher of revolutionary and eloquent sermons, companion of Imam Khomeini (R.A.), tireless comrade of martyr Hashemi Nejad and the Supreme Leader, tortured man of tyranny and oppression era, and the grand custodian of Razavi Holy Shrine passed away at 2:10 am of Isfand 14, 1394/ Jumada al-Awwal 24, 1437/ March 4, 2016 and left a great record of a patient and knowledgeable servanthood and a successful Islamic management for the Iranian religious society.
This great and pious scientist whose name has been linked with the development and great services to the pilgrims and devoted people to Razavi Shrine was also the representative of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader in the province, the chief of the all the seminaries in Khorasan provinces, a member in the expediency council and also the assembly of experts. And he left a very good and unique record in all of his responsibilities which is rooted in endless teachings of Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt and also systematic and religious management.
There is no doubt the departure of this great and unique character for whom support of Wali Faqih was the best responsibility and serving the Razavi pilgrims was the best post is a deep affliction for the religious areas of the country and a Irreparable incident for this holy organization.
Expressing our condolence to Hazrat Mahdi (A.S.), we solace this great affliction to the Supreme Leader and announce the mourning to all the servants of the Razavi Shrine and all people in the Khorasan provinces. Also, we condolence Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi’s departure to all the public in all over the world and all the pilgrims of this holy place.
It is hoped that the award of this forty-year-old servanthood in the Razavi Shrine results in his great position and status in the hereafter.
