AhlulBayt News Agency: Ansarullah has issued a strong warning to the United States and its Western allies, declaring that over eight million Yemeni fighters are prepared for combat and cautioning that their retaliation could escalate if aggression against Yemen continues.
According to Press TV, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, shared the statement on Tuesday via his official account on X, formerly known as Twitter. He urged the U.S. and Western nations to cease their aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, warning that failure to do so would lead to an intensified and expanded conflict.
The remarks come amid ongoing American and British airstrikes targeting Yemen, which have escalated under the so-called Operation Rough Rider, authorized by former President Donald Trump. The campaign aims to counter Ansarullah’s strikes on Israeli and Israeli-linked vessels in Red Sea shipping lanes, as well as their operations targeting sites deep within occupied Palestinian territories.
Since October last year, Yemen’s Armed Forces have been conducting strikes in response to Israel’s intensified siege and military actions against Gaza, which have resulted in the deaths of nearly 52,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. Despite the bombardments by Western allies, Yemeni forces have continued their pro-Palestinian operations and carried out successful retaliatory strikes against American military assets.
In a recent incident, a U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet warplane fell into the Red Sea after the USS Harry S. Truman, an American aircraft carrier, made a sharp maneuver to evade a strike by Yemeni forces.
