Al-Abbas shrine reaches final stages in rehabilitation of gate of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (+Photos)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced that it has reached the final stages in the rehabilitation of the gate of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and its renovation in the Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced that it has reached the final stages in the rehabilitation of the gate of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and its renovation in the Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

"We have reached the final stages in completing the rehabilitation of the gate of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and renovating it in the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him),"said the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin.

He added that "the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine used Islamic architecture carried out by Iraqi hands to build and rehabilitate this gate, which is one of the nine gates of the sanctuary of the Master (peace be upon him), indicating that"six gates have been completed, while three other gates are in the final stages, and will be opened in the coming days".

Sayed Aal Dia-Uddin stressed that these achievements reflect" the enthusiasm of the creative Iraqis who carried out these works with high precision and great skill, "pointing out that"this energy is what the religious authority in Najaf is looking for, and the Senior Official of the holy shrine urges us to bring out the creative Iraqi energies and rely on them in the implementation of projects."

He pointed out that"previously, these works were carried out by specialists in Islamic architecture from other countries, but currently they are carried out by Iraqi hands, and this is proof that the Iraqi mind and the specialists present in Iraq are creative and deserve appreciation, because these works require high accuracy and skill in gaining experience for long periods".

"In these gates, the finest architectural details were used with gilding on Karbala'i Kashi, and this kind of art is a new kind that reflects creativity and accuracy in execution,"concluded Sayed Aal-Dia-Uddin.
