AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif Al-Qanou has stressed that the Palestinian people will continue defending their lands and sanctities until there will be no place for the invaders.
In a press statement on Sunday, spokesman Qanou said that the escalating Israeli raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the desperate attempts to tighten the grip on the Islamic holy site require continued Palestinian presence in Al-Aqsa's courtyards.
“The Israeli plans to Judaize and divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be foiled,” Qanou affirmed, adding that such violations could lead to a "religious war" in the region.
Qanou concluded that Jewish settlers’ break-ins into the Al-Aqsa and Al-Ibrahimi Mosques facilitated by tight protection of Israeli armed forces during the Jewish holidays while closing the mosques to Muslim worshipers herald bad omens that Israel will be responsible for.
