The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that an American soldier was killed in northern Iraq on July 18 during what it claimed to be a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone.
The United States Central Command reports renewing aggression against targets inside Iran, a day after the Islamic Republic struck American military targets in the region in response to earlier attacks.
The Commander of the Iranian Army’s Navy stated, “The eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz and the Oman Sea, serving as the gateway to the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, is fully under Iran’s control, and we are awaiting the moment of retaliation against the invading enemy.”
