AhlulBayt News Agency: Issam Youssef, head of the Miles of Smiles campaign, has affirmed that the coming months will see intensive efforts to break the Israeli naval blockade on the Gaza Strip.
“The step to resume and activate the initiatives to break the sea blockade of Gaza has been taken because of the ongoing Israeli siege on Gaza and following a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic,” Youssef said in press remarks on Tuesday to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC).
“The new campaign will include events and activities in several European ports,” he said, adding that the sailing of new boats for Gaza would be part of a program prepared by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition to break the Gaza siege.
“No schedule has been set for sending boats to Gaza, but the coming months will see such efforts,” Youssef pointed out.
