AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, during the farewell ceremony for the pure body of Martyred Lieutenant General Sayed Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the country, at the shrine of Lady Masoumah (a.s.), said, “The path of Imam Ali (a.s.) is the path of divine love and sacrifice in the way of love for God.”
Stating that the pride of us Iranians is that the Noble Quran has promised that this people will make Islam and the Quran universal, he added, “The Iranians, under the banner of Wilayah, will drag global arrogance to the dust of humiliation.”
Ayatollah Araki expressed, “Our nation, with commanders such as Abdolrahim Mousavi, who said, 'If they kill me a thousand times and bring me back to life, I will never abandon following and defending the school of the Commander of the Faithful,' today are present on the scene in such a way that they have astonished and bewildered the nations of the world.” He emphasized, “Yes, we are a nation of love, and it is love that sacrifices life for the path of God and sublime values. Today, Islam and Iran are one, and Iran is the center of Islam and love for God, Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), and Imam Ali (a.s.).”
A member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership, referring to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the path of God throughout various eras, said, “Among the honors and signs of the sincerity of this nation is that the martyrs of this nation and the pioneers of jihad are among the military commanders and officials of this nation, and at their head is our martyred Imam, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, whose martyrdom breathed a new spirit into the nation of Iran and the Imam of the oppressed of the world, and this blood that was shed has turned into a devastating flood that will uproot the foundation of global arrogance.”
