President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran will not hesitate to defend itself.
In a post on his X account on Friday, Pezeshkian said, "We are committed to a lasting peace in the region. However, we do not hesitate to defend the dignity of the country."
He also wrote that, "Those who seek to mediate must go to those sides who underestimate Iranian nation's power and are fomenting fire."
