Brigadier General Kiumars Heidari, Deputy Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, says Iran has not closed the Strait of Hormuz and will not do so, because it has other capabilities to use to in the war with the United States and Israel.
“We are sometimes accused of closing the Strait of Hormuz. However, we do not believe in closing the strait, as we possess other capabilities to proceed the war with the American-Zionist enemy. Today, we have not closed the Strait of Hormuz, and this strait is only a small component of this vast battlefield, situated at the heart of the conflict,” the military official said on Thursday while talking to Iran’s state TV.
Heidari also said that Iran implements its own maritime policy in the Strait of Hormuz and behaves moving ships according to international protocols. Any vessel that complies with the protocols will face no issue, but any ship that fails to comply with those protocols will be sunk.
He said that Iran is launching missiles deep inside the occupied territories and is targeting the enemy’s key positions.
All operations have been carried out successfully, and many streets and alleys in the occupied territories resemble those of Gaza, he added.
“US officers and soldiers will definitely be sent to the bottom of the sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Sea of Oman…others will be carried away in coffins,” Heidari said.
Iran has prepared itself to teach the enemy a harsh lesson, and “we will be the ones to decide when to end this war.”
