AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The head of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) party and senior opposition member of Pakistan’s Senate sharply criticized U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to address internal problems in the American military instead of obsessing over Iran’s endurance and resilience.
Senator Raja Nasser Abbas Jafri, President of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, referred to the deployment of the $13 billion aircraft carrier Gerald Ford to the region, writing: “Mr. Trump, instead of being obsessed with the resilience and steadfastness of Iranians, it would be better to first solve the sewage crisis on your most advanced ship sent to intimidate Iran—a ship currently struggling with blocked toilets. Before boasting about power, think of the morale of sailors serving under such conditions.”
He also commented on Trump’s reportedly persistent curiosity about Iran not surrendering, saying: “We fully understand Donald Trump’s anxiety, even when expressed as mere curiosity.”
Referencing Quranic verse 3:119 (Surah Al-Imran), Raja Nasser added: “The calm and steadfastness of the believers enrages their enemies, causing inner turmoil: when alone, they gnaw their fingertips out of fury. Say, ‘Die from your anger.’”
The senator emphasized that true resilience and courage do not come from wealth, weapons, or pressure, but from firm faith in God and adherence to the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family.
He further cited Quranic verses highlighting how believers’ faith strengthens in the face of threats, describing this principle as the key to the steadfastness of nations that refuse to yield to external pressure.
