AhlulBayt News Agency: The Women’s Development and Education Sector in al-Marawe’ah district of Hodeida governorate of Yemen organized a cultural event on Sunday to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran.
During the event, the Director of the Women’s Development Department, Amirah Meqri, reviewed the historical role of the martyr leader in awakening public awareness to confront what she described as threats and conspiracies targeting the Arab and Islamic nation.
She emphasized the pivotal role of women in strengthening faith-based values and building a generation equipped with awareness and insight, describing the commemoration as a spiritual occasion to renew determination and draw lessons from the martyr leader’s courage, patience, and vision.
Meqri noted that the project led by the martyr leader helped illuminate the path of the nation during its darkest and most challenging times, reinforcing steadfastness and a sense of responsibility in addressing current challenges.
For her part, cultural activist Saeeda Al-Wasabi said the Quranic project presented by the martyr leader restored the nation’s confidence in its methodology and faith identity, stressing the importance of following his approach in confronting what she described as forces of arrogance and in upholding the principles and values for which he sacrificed his life.
The event featured a variety of activities, including cultural segments and poetry reflecting the occasion.
