AhlulBayt News Agency: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 71,500 since the Israeli regime began its genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave.
The Israeli regime has killed 71,548 Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 07, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry said.
It said on Sunday that the Zionist forces have killed one Palestinian and injured 6 others in Gaza over the past 24 hours.
The ministry put the total number of Palestinian people injured in the Israeli attacks at 171,500.
The Israeli regime launched its genocidal war in October 2023 with the aim of eliminating Hamas and returning the Zionist captives but failed to achieve the objectives and had to agree to a ceasefire with Hamas in October 2025.
In addition to killing and injuring so many Gazans, the Israeli aggression, carried out with US support, has devastated the Palestinian enclave.
More than 90 percent of Gaza’s infrastructures are reported to have been destroyed by Israeli forces.
The United Nations estimates that the reconstruction of Gaza will require some $70 billion.
