The funeral ceremony of His Eminence Sayyid Hadi al-Sistani (may God have mercy on him), brother of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may his shadow endure), was held in the sacred courtyard of Imam Ali’s shrine, attended by a large gathering of representatives of senior religious authorities, scholars and students of the seminary, and diverse social groups.
