AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has responded to statements from German officials, asserting that those who have repeatedly found themselves on the wrong side of history should remain silent.
In a post on X late Saturday, Baqaei referenced historical events, stating, “History reminder: Germany ignited two world wars.”
According to IRNA, he highlighted Iran’s role in aiding Jewish refugees during World War II, noting, “Iran sheltered Jews fleeing Hitler – ask Polish/French refugees who got Iranian passports.”
Baqaei concluded by reiterating his position: “Those perpetually on the wrong side of history best stay silent now.”
