AhlulBayt News Agency: The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned Michaela Pacher, the chargé d’affaires of the Austrian Embassy in Tehran, following Vienna’s claims regarding Iran’s nuclear activities in its annual intelligence assessment.
According with IRNA, with the Austrian ambassador absent, Pacher attended the meeting on Friday, where Iranian officials firmly rejected the allegations, stating that they contradict reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Iranian representatives emphasized that the country’s nuclear activities are fully compliant with its legal commitments under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). They described Austria’s claims as baseless, irresponsible, and provocative, demanding an official explanation from the Austrian government.
In response, Pacher assured that Iran’s formal protest and request for clarification would be relayed to her government.
