AhlulBayt News Agency: The 12th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Machinery, known as MILEX-2025, has officially begun in Belarus, with Iran showcasing 50 defense achievements.
The exhibition opened on Wednesday alongside the 11th International Scientific Conference on Military-Technical Cooperation in the Field of Defense and Security. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko delivered a welcome address at the event.
This four-day expo features more than 750 new types of military equipment and weapons produced by Belarus' military-industrial complex, as well as contributions from several other countries. The event is being held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center.
A total of 150 companies from Belarus and five other nations—Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan, and India—are participating in the exhibition. Organizers expect over 50 official delegations from approximately 30 countries to visit the expo.
One of the largest pavilions at the exhibition is dedicated to military and defense industry products from companies affiliated with Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics. Iran has a strong presence at the event, displaying more than 50 types of manufactured defense products.
