Day 7 of Turkey’s incursion in Syria detailed

On the 7th day of Turkey’s Euphrates Shield Operation the Free Syrian Army, Turkey-backed Islamist proxies and the Turkish military captured Zavgar village from ISI

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - On the 7th day of Turkey’s Euphrates Shield Operation the Free Syrian Army, Turkey-backed Islamist proxies and the Turkish military captured Zavgar village from ISIS.

Abu Mohammad Al-Adnani, commander and spokesman for ISIS, was then killed by a US-led coalition airstrike, Al-Amaq News Agency reported on Tuesday night. The United States released a statement explaining the circumstances of the airstrike.

The death of Adnani spurred on a massive offensive by the terrorist group leading to recapture the villages of Kiliyeh, Arab Hasan Saghir, Al-Muhsinli, and Al-Bulduq under the command of the Moroccan Abu Ayman Al-Maghribi.

A Turkish tank was hit by Kurdish YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces resulting in the injury for three soldiers.

The United States was critical of Turkey targeting the YPG, prompting Ankara to summon the US Ambassador to explain the comments.

French President Hollande was equally critical but Ankara had not summoned the French ambassador.

Two Turkish tanks were destroyed by ISIS and dozens are reportedly to have perished as a result of the suicide attacks. Turkish officials are yet to comment on this attack.
