The Iraqi forces discovered several rooms in a religious court of the ISIL in the city of Fallujah packed with iron cages.
According to Iraqi officials, the cages were used for jailing and torturing the ordinary men and women.
The Iraqi forces also came across several other cage prisons in al-Moalemin region where they found torture equipment such as electric cables used for torturing with electric shocks.
In mid-June, Commander of Iraq's Federal Police Major General Raed Shaker Judat disclosed that after the liberation of the Fallujah his forces have discovered three different kinds of prisons in the city.
"Police forces managed to discover a religious court in Hay Nazal region in the center of Fallujah which contained three prisons in itself," the Arabic-language Sumeria News website quoted Shaker Judat as saying.
He noted that the first prison was used for torturing and jailing the ordinary people and one of them was used for jailing the ISIL militants.
In Mid-June, Iraq's Police Chief declared full liberation of Fallujah after the two-year-long ISIL control over the strategic city.
