Syrian Army kills 21 ISIS terrorists during liberating Jabal Thardeh in Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Army’s 137th Artillery Brigade of the 17th Reserve Division liberated the Armenian Cemetery of Deir Ezzor on Sunday after a week long battle with the ISIS terrorists.

AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian Army’s 137th Artillery Brigade of the 17th Reserve Division liberated the Armenian Cemetery of Deir Ezzor on Sunday after a week long battle with the ISIS terrorists. 

Following the liberation of the Armenian Cemetery, the Syrian Armed Forces successfully expelled the ISIS militants from Jabal Thardeh, killing a confirmed 21 terrorist combatants in the process of its liberation on Sunday.

According to a source at the Deir Ezzor Military Airport, the Syrian Armed Forces killed the top ISIS commander leading the offensive at Jabal Thardeh.

The ISIS commander was identified as “Abu Mohammad Al-Hamwi” – his death was mourned by the terrorist group’s social media activists.

With the liberation of Jabal Thardeh and the Armenian Cemetery on Sunday, the Syrian Armed Forces have effectively reversed almost all of ISIS’ gains in western Deir Ezzor.
