Pakistan: Allama Raja Nasir Abbas once again elected as MWM’s central Secretary General

Senior Pakistani Shiite cleric, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, once again elected as Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM)’s central Secretary General.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Senior Pakistani Shiite cleric, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas once again elected as Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM)’s central Secretary General.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has been selected, for the third time, as the central Secretary General (head) of MWM Pakistan for three years (2016-2019) with majority votes.

Members from more than 80 districts of the country from all five provinces including Azad Kashmir and central cabinet took part in the election of central Secretary General.

Voting took place at Jama’a Imam al Sadiq. Allama Amin Shahidi, Allama Ahmed Iqbal and Allama Nasir Abbas were the candidates for the seat of Secretary General. Chairman of cabinet Allama Sheikh Salahuddin announced the result.

Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) is a biggest Shiite Political organization in Pakistan participating in political activities in all over country with headquarter in Islamabad. MWM Pakistan working with ideology to establish an Islamic democratic welfare Government, particularly emphasizing on Shiite-Sunni unity in the country. Political Expert rated MWM among 15 biggest political parties in Pakistan.
