Ayatollah Nouri: Avoid optimistic views on dependency to west to make reforms in the country

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, prominent Shia jurisprudent, met with a group of cleric in the holy city of Qom calling confrontation with arrogant powers as a principle of the Islamic Revolution and demanded to avoid optimistic views on dependency or trust the west to make reforms in the country.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, prominent Shia jurisprudent, met with a group of cleric in the holy city of Qom calling confrontation with arrogant powers as a principle of the Islamic Revolution and demanded to avoid optimistic views on dependency or trust the west to make reforms in the country.
 
He said,” Western thought is a pro-Zionist, arrogant and bullying view; hence, we cannot maintain ties with it.”
 
The cleric referred to long time of political, economic, cultural and military invasion of the west and hailed vigilance, resistance and confrontation against it.
 
Professor at Qom Seminary noted,” West, following the conclusion of Iran’s nuclear talks, has brought forth the missile issue and this proves their ideology which follows their megalomaniac and arrogant view.”
 
The cleric stressed safeguarding the Islamic Revolution by committed and loyal people following the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
