ISIS militants have executed a number of civilians in their northern Iraqi stronghold of Mosul.
A security source for Nineveh Province said that ISIS insurgents attacked Houdi village to the south of Mosul, and arrested scores of villagers on Monday December 28th.
The detainees were accused of cooperating with Kurdish Peshmerga and Iraqi security forces as well as helping Mosul residents to escape ISIS territories and reach the Kurdistan Region.
The source confirmed that at least 20 villagers were sentenced to death on the following days.
The executions took place near Houdi village and terrorists burnt the bodies to give a grim warning to the locals.
