The holy chamber (Zarih) of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib was dusted by the Servants (Khuddam) of the Razavi Illuminated Shrine. This group of Khuddam is present in the holy city of Najaf to participate in the great walking of Arbaeen.
In a very glorious and spiritual ceremony which was accompanied by Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Nazar Hashem Habl al-Matin, the custodian of Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy Shrine and servants of Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy Shrine, a group of Razavi managers and Khuddam dusted the holy Chamber (Zarih).
Before participating at this ceremony and in their meeting with the custodian of Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy Shrine, this caravan of Khuddam exchanged their ideas on possible ways of expanding cooperations.
Expressing his happiness over the first presence of Razavi Khuddam in the holy city of Najaf and also the great walking of Arbaeen, the grand custodian of Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy Shrine called for expanding cooperations and said, “The first cooperation between Alavi Shrine and Astan Quds Razavi took place through exchanging experiences in the area of Qura’anic activities at the Dar al-Qura’an of the Razavi Holy Shrine and since that time these cooperations have always increased. We hope the interactions between these two holy organizations increase a lot”.
Referring to the development project at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (A.S.) and resting chamber and courtyard of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.), he said, “In Ba’ath regime, no attention was paid to the development of holy sites and Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (A.S.), as developing Razavi Holy Shrine had been forgotten during Iran’s previous regime. This development and reconstruction has started nearly a decade ago, with the fall of Saddam Hussein”.

Referring to the old buildings around the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (A.S.) and possessing the lands around it, Nazar stressed, “We have passed about ten years of hard work and thanks to God, the reconstruction projects are being done quickly now”. He also said, “We have tried to consider pilgrims’ wealth and needs during all these projects”.
The manager of caravan of Razavi Khuddam also said, “220 servants of Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine are present in this year’s Arbaeen walking, with respect to special attention of Astan Quds Razavi’s Grand Custodian, Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi”. He said, “About fifty people of these servants will be present in Najaf to Karbala road and other 170 servants will start their walking toward Karbala, since Saturday, in the form of Astan Quds Razavi’s caravan of Khuddam.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Husseini Sharif added, “With respect to the first presence of Razavi Khuddam in this ceremony, we need support of holy shrines’ authorities so that this new incident be a starting point for future cooperations”.
In the same meeting, also, supervisor of Astan Quds Razavi General Office of Public Relations offered a report on Astan Quds Razavi’s 37-year-old activities after the victory of Islamic Revolution and said, “Astan Quds Razavi has had great achievements and successes in different areas, during the years following the Islamic Revolution. One of the reasons behind this success is organization’s special attention to the benefactors’ intentions and also protecting and developing its endowments”.
Seyyed Ahmad Hashem Abadi added, “As it was mentioned, no attention was paid to the issue of Razavi Holy Shrines’ development, in Pahlavi regime. After appointment of Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi by Imam Khomeini (R.A.), however, a particular discipline dominated the endowments and as a result of which the 120 thousand-square-meters space of Razavi Holy Shrine reached to over one million square meters and this organization’s cultural, religious, social, and economic collections have now a very good activity in the country”.
He said, “The 37-year-old experiences of Astan Quds Razavi belong to entire Islamic World”. He also said, “With regard to the presence of Mr. Azizian as the Deputy of Astan Quds Razavi’s Grand Custodian and his influential role in development of the Razavi Holy Shrine the conditions for exchanging Astan Quds Razavi’s experiences with other Holy Shrines particularly in the area of development and reconstructions are ready”.
At the end of this meeting some cultural and blessed gifts were offered to the caravan of Razavi Khuddam by Astan Quds Alavi.
