Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Israeli occupied forces shot and killed a 53-year-old Palestinian, Falah Hammad Abu Maria, and injured his two sons, Muhammad and Ahmad, after they raided their home in the Beit Ummar in northern Hebron early Thursday, witnesses said.

Witnesses said that Israeli forces raided Falah's house and shot and injured his son, Muhammad, 22, with two live bullets in the pelvis, Ma'an reported.

When Falah attempted to aid his injured son soldiers shot Falah twice in the chest, witnesses said.

Spokesperson of a local popular committee, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, said that Israeli forces and undercover forces raided Falah’s house early Thursday and opened live fire inside the house injuring Muhammad Abu Maria, in the pelvis.

Awad added that Falah was critically injured with two bullets in the chest when he attempted to help his son.

Falah was taken to the al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron and was pronounced dead shortly after.

Falah’s other son, Ahmad, 25, was also injured with bullet shrapnel in the chest. He was taken to the al-Ahli Hospital as well where his condition was reported as stable.

An Israeli spokesperson said the incident happened in an overnight operation to arrest unidentified suspects. An Israeli spokesperson said a "violent mob" attacked Israeli forces, injuring one Israeli soldier with a rock.

Israeli forces responded with live fire aimed at lower extremities, injuring one man.

According to the Israeli spokesperson, when Israeli forces were going to leave the home of the first incident they were "attacked" again, and again opened fire and killed one man.

The Israeli spokesperson could not identify the man killed as Falah Hammad Abu Maria.

Israeli forces detained Hammad Ahmad Hammad Abu Maria, 23, during the raid, who is a former prisoner, according to Awad.

Additionally, a home belonging to the Abu Maria family was ordered a stop-work order on a nearly-finished construction owned by Khalil Mahmoud Abu Maria in Beit Ummar on Sunday.

The next day Israeli forces delivered a notice to 28-year-old Khalil Abu Maria summoning him to meet with Israeli intelligence in the Etzion military camp in northern Beit Ummar.
