A Pakistani parliamentarian on Friday said that Iran is on the front line among Muslim nations backing up the long standing issue of Palestine.
Senator Col (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), said that Muslims have to unite if they want to effectively fight against anti-Islam challenges including the Zionist Regime.
He said that ‘the Quds day is observed to condemn the illegal occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist regime’.
The political leader called upon Muslims around the world to struggle collectively to get back the control of the holy city of Quds from the Zionist regime.
“Only rallies would not serve the purpose,” he said.
He added that the day is significant for all the Muslim countries due to its noble cause.
The lawmaker said that unfortunately Muslim countries are not raising strong voice for the resolution of Palestinian issue.
“Iran is the only country that is raising the issue at diplomatic level on all fronts,” he said.
The Senator expressing his views said that Muslims countries must sink their differences and unite against the enemies of Islam.
Commenting of the issue of the Terrorist group of Deash (ISIS), which was created by the US with the help of some Arab states, he said the terrorist group has now become a threat for the whole Muslim world.
“Deash is a monster which has turned itself towards its creators now,” viewed the politician.
Mashhadi added that the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has failed to protect the rights of Palestinians and all Muslims.
“Unfortunately it has become a meeting club which is the most ineffective,” he said.
The lawmaker strongly believed that Muslims have to stand up for their rights.
He said that there is need to ignite the enthusiasm of Muslims against anti Islamic powers and they should not compromise on their religious identity at any cost.
He was of the opinion that the leaders of Muslim Ummah should symbolize the wishes of their people.
