AhlulBayt News Agency: The head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, on Friday said that the Palestinian people have escalated their resistance activities in the West Bank.
In an interview with the Iranian channel, Alalam News, Haniyeh said that the West Bank has become an open front to provide strategic support for the Gaza Strip while confronting the Israeli occupation.
“Joint operations room of the Palestinian resistance factions reflects that Palestinian people are united while resisting the Israeli occupation,” Haneyya underlined, reiterating the resistance's readiness to respond to the repeated Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile, Haniyeh highlighted that he briefed the Iranian leadership on the escalating resistance in Palestine in addition to Israeli Judaization plans against al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Haniyeh stressed the importance of meeting Iranian officials in the Iranian capital, Tehran, hailing Iran's role in supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance.
A high-ranking Hamas delegation, led by Haniyeh, arrived in Tehran on Monday to meet with Iranian leaders and discuss issues of mutual interest.
