AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Prominent Pakistani clergy, Mohammad Pir Naghib Al Rahman in his meeting with Iranian Cultural Attaché in Islamabad said Islam is the religion of unity and peace adding that Muslims should be united and follow the path of holy Quran and members of the holy Household of Prophet Mohammad (SA).
The meeting between Ehsan Khazaee and the leader of the Naghshbandieh Sunni mythic sect took place in venue called "Eid Ghah Sharies" in Rawalpindi.
Iranian Cultural Attaché in Pakistan talking about deep rooted cultural and religious commonality between Iran and Pakistan said, Iranian Cultural Mission in an effort to promote those shared characteristics, holds various cultural and religious events in Pakistan.
The Pakistani Prominent clergy for his part talked about the need for unity of the Muslim world and said we are dutybound to work for such unity and proximity among various branches of Islam.
Mohammad Pir Naghib AL Rahman said Islamic Republic of Iran is a sacred country and burial place of large number of religious figures and called for cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad
