DUNDEE, Scotland (AhlulBayt News Agency) - A special information event highlighting the dangers of drugs to children will be held on Sunday at a Dundee mosque in Scotland.
Organised by staff at the Scottish Islamic Cultural Centre of Dundee in Dura Street, talks will be given by members of the mosque’s youth group.
Officers from Police Scotland will also visit to give a speech.
Sabina Islam, who helps to organise the youth group, said: “We want to get the message out to the children about the dangers of drugs. We held a similar event last month and it went very well with a lot of the local children attending so we decided to do the same thing again. It’s great that we have the support of Police Scotland coming to give a talk as well.”
Ms Islam said members of the youth group, who are local Muslim children aged 13 and older, helped to organise the event, which will run from 2-4pm.
