AhlulBayt News Agency: The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted a visit to the fatimiya hospital in the Pakistani city of Karachi, familiarizing itself with the medical services provided by the hospital and checking on the patients lying in it.
The visit came on the sidelines of the activities of the Second Women Festival, organized by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets for electronic Theological Studies/ Urdu branch of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra(peace be upon her).
The head of the Religious Affairs department at the holy shrine, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, explained that "the tour included reviewing the level of health services provided by the fatimiyah hospital, which is one of the projects of the fatimiyah Foundation in Karachi, in addition to transferring the experience of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the health field, and the comprehensive services it provides through its medical institutions."
"During the Ziyarat, the conditions of the patients lying in the hospital were reviewed and blessed gifts were presented to them, which had a great positive impact,"he added.
The Second Women Festival, which includes various events such as the Takleef ceremony, scientific and cultural seminars, and poetry evenings, aims to commemorate the memory of Our Lady of the women of the worlds, Lady Fatima az-Zahra(peace be upon her), and highlight stations from her blessed life.
