Muslim group in London launches campaign to introduce Islam, Quran

A group of Muslim activists have launched a campaign in London aimed at introducing Islam and the Holy Quran to the public.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of Muslim activists have launched a campaign in London aimed at introducing Islam and the Holy Quran to the public.

Launched by iERA (Islamic Education and Research Academy) over the weekend, the campaign features a group of Muslim activists who talk to people about Islam and the Quran and it also includes billboards that display selected Quranic verses.

“iERA is excited to launch our new #DiscoverTheQuran campaign, bringing carefully selected verses of the Quran to billboards across London,” the group wrote in a post on X on Saturday.

Key Quran verses discussing death and patience have been raised on billboards across London, providing Brits an opportunity to learn about Islam and order a free copy of the Quran in English.

“We've seen an unprecedented interest in Islam amongst non-muslims and in particular understanding and discovering the Quran which is what people want to do,” Saqib Sattar, Co-Founder of iERA, told 5Pillars.

Describing the campaign as “unprecedented”, he noted the initiative seeks to “give access to people to discover the Quran.”

The campaign will distribute 60,000 copies of the Holy Quran to people, according to iERA.
