(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Last night, the Takfiri rebels in the ‘Anadan Plain launched an attack on the Shiite populated towns of Al-Zahra’a and Nubl.
Using missiles, the takfiri rebels from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched several missiles on the towns of Al-Zahra’a and Nubl, prompting Hezbollah and the National Defense Forces (NDF) to issue a powerful response.
According to the National Defense Forces, their troops and Hezbollah fired several retaliatory missiles on the towns of Bayyanoun and ‘Anadan.
The exchange lasted for nearly two hours, but no casualties were reported from either side.
This attack by the takfiri rebels last night marked the first time this year that the latter has targeted these two Shiite populated towns in northern Aleppo.
Due to the presence of Turkish troops in northern and western Aleppo, the Syrian Army has been unable to launch any ground offensives against the takfiri rebels in the ‘Anadan Plain.
The Syrian Army had planned to launch a big offensive to capture the ‘Anadan Plain for several months, but were ultimately forced to redirect their troops to other fronts.
Since this is a ceasefire violation, the Russian Aerospace Forces will likely respond to this provocation from the takfiri rebels in the next 48 hours.
