“Religions National Week” Planned in Switzerland

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to catch.ch website, “faith and the youth” will be the theme of the week, which is to be organized by the Society of Religious Affairs in Switzerland in various 18 states of the country. The religious week will be opened in a ceremony to be attended by Swiss political and cultural figures. A photo exhibition featuring various traditions in different faiths and eid rituals performed by followers of Islam, Christianity and Judaism in Switzerland will be one of the programs of the week. The week of religions is held in early November every year in various cities of Switzerland including sport contests among followers of different faiths, forums to introduce culture of the citizens and discussion sessions with the participation of politicians to solve problems of religious minorities. One of the most important programs of this edition of the week in 2013 is the mosque, churches and synagogues doors open day to be held on November 9 in Bern, the capital city./149
