AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The former Vice President and former presidential candidate of the United States (2024) says that Trump, at Netanyahu's insistence, dragged the United States into war with Iran and endangered American soldiers—a war that the American people do not want.
Kamala Harris said on Saturday at a Democratic Party fundraiser in Detroit that Trump, through this war, has endangered the lives of American soldiers.
The War with Iran: An Attempt to Divert Attention from the Epstein Case
She described the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran as a "weak attempt" to divert attention from the Epstein cases.
Harris said, "Trump entered a war, and Netanyahu dragged him into it—let me be clear about that—a war that the American people did not want. Among its consequences is the rise in gasoline prices."
Referring to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender, she stated that by initiating aggression against Iran, Trump wanted to shift the focus of American public opinion from his own documents in the Epstein case to a war that affects all aspects of Americans' daily lives.
She condemned Trump for endangering America's relations with its allies and called him an "insecure man."
She also condemned Trump for endangering the lives of American soldiers and fueling what she described as a "civil war" that harms people, as rising gasoline prices continue to pressure households.
Harris added, "We are dealing with the most corrupt, most heartless, and most incompetent administration (Trump) in the history of the United States."
She warned, "This man does not understand what true power is... and he tries to pretend that he is essentially some kind of mafia boss... that he is truthful, trustworthy, consistent. He has failed in every way."
