The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has carried out a new wave of missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli and US positions in response to the ongoing aggression by the two criminal regimes against Iran.
In a statement on Saturday night, the IRGC said the strikes were part of the 27th wave of Operation True Promise 4, which were conducted using a combination of drones and missiles.
According to the statement, Israeli military targets in the northern city of Haifa were struck with new solid-fuel Kheibar Shekan missiles developed by the IRGC’s aerospace division, which have precision guidance capabilities.
The statement also said Iranian drone units targeted a location hosting US military personnel in the Marina area near buildings associated with Warner Bros.
Separately, the IRGC Navy said it struck a command unit of the US Fifth Fleet’s unmanned vessel operations as well as support facilities used by American forces at Salman Port.
The IRGC added that its monitoring shows Israel is keeping residents in northern and central areas in place to act as a “human shield” for its forces. It also said that conditions across Israel have been marked by frequent air-raid sirens following the Iranian strikes.
The United States and Israel launched a war of aggression against Iran on February 28, assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top military commanders, despite indirect nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
The two regimes have also killed more than 1,200 civilians, including nearly 200 children, and attacked non-military sites, among them schools and hospitals.
Within the framework of its legitimate response, the Iranian Armed Forces immediately initiated decisive missile and drone strikes against US bases in the region and targets in Israel.
