AhlulBayt News Agency: Hujjat al‑Islam Ashraf‑ul‑Alam, one of the prominent scholars of Bangladesh, has passed away.
The religious scholar, who was a lecturer at Al‑Mustafa International University and the preacher of the Mirpur Islamic Center, spent many years studying at the religious seminary in the holy city of Qom.
During his time in Iran, Hujjat al‑Islam Ashraf‑ul‑Alam received advanced training in Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, and philosophy. After completing his studies, he returned to Bangladesh, where he taught in various religious institutions and dedicated himself to promoting the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and engaging in Islamic missionary activities.
He was known for his humility, principled character, and lifelong devotion to learning. With his passing, Bangladesh has lost a refined preacher and a devoted religious figure.
