Zionist terrorist army launches a series of raids on sites in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army carried out a series of raids on several areas and sites in southern Lebanon, as violations of the November 2024 ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah have continued since then.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli army carried out a series of raids on several areas and sites in southern Lebanon, as violations of the November 2024 ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah have continued since then.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that, late on Saturday night, Israeli warplanes conducted a series of air raids targeting the Hmailyah area on the outskirts of the town of Houmine al-Fawqa in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region.

According to the Lebanese agency, other raids also targeted the towns of Mlikh and Bsaliyyah, the heights of Jabal Al-Rayhan, and the outskirts of the town of Sajd in Jezzine.

The same agency reported that an Israeli drone dropped explosive charges in 4 stages on an uninhabited house in the Al-Ksayir neighborhood east of the town of Mays Al-Jabal, in an attempt to destroy it.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it attacked weapons depots and rocket launching platforms belonging to Hezbollah in a number of areas in southern Lebanon. It announces on a daily basis the attacks inside Lebanese territory, claiming they target Hezbollah sites and members.

This comes as part of daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement concluded with Hezbollah since November 2024, while Lebanese officials have repeatedly demanded that Tel Aviv stop its violations and adhere to the provisions, but it has ignored these demands and continues the violations.

The Israeli violations have resulted in the killing and injury of hundreds of civilians, and Tel Aviv also defies the agreement by continuing its occupation of 5 Lebanese hills it seized during the last war, in addition to other areas it has occupied for decades.

The agreement ended an aggression launched by Israel against Lebanon in October 2023, which it escalated in September 2024 into a full-scale war, resulting in the killing of more than 4,000 people and the injury of about 17,000.
