He added that "the assembly is the first of its kind in Iraq and is a scientific council concerned with studying the book Nahj al-Balagha as a living text and a valuable methodology that addresses doctrinal issues, educational values, and principles of good governance, and seeks to interpret and activate the Alawite text in society."

For his part, the lecturer of the symposium, Dr. Talal Khalifa Al-Obeidi, explained that "the texts attributed to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the book Nahj al-Balagha represent a roadmap for solving the daily problems of society and contribute to protecting it from incoming ideas that threaten its identity and values."
