AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation army burned residential homes in the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem on Sunday. Flames were seen rising from the buildings, as the occupation army continues its aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its camps for the 35th consecutive day.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) burned homes in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood of the Nur Shams camp, just hours after demolishing about 30 housing units as part of ongoing demolition operations targeting the camp in the northern West Bank, following days of forcing residents to evacuate their homes.

The Israeli occupation continues its extensive aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its camp for the 35th consecutive day, and against the Nur Shams camp for the 22nd day, escalating its incursions, raids on homes, and the forced displacement of residents, amidst destruction and burning of several homes.

Local sources pointed out that the IOF sent military reinforcements to the city and its camps, Tulkarem and Nur Shams, patrolling the streets amid heavy live fire. The IOF soldiers positioned themselves along the Nablus road connecting the camps, where they continue to seize residential buildings and convert them into military barracks.

Witnesses reported that the IOF vandalized and destroyed the contents of the Al-Amar building on Nablus Street after taking over the premises and forcing its occupants to leave, throwing their personal belongings out of the windows.

The IOF continues to impose a tight siege on the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, preventing entry or exit, and deploying foot patrols around and within the neighborhoods accompanied by police dogs, while raiding and vandalizing homes and subjecting the remaining residents inside to interrogation.

The IOF forced the residents of the Wadi Al-Qalansuwa neighborhood to evacuate their homes forcibly after raiding the area on Saturday, firing sound bombs against them and using some of them as human shields. Residents reported that the IOF gave seven families in the neighborhood until 8 AM Sunday to leave their homes.

Earlier, the occupation forces raided homes in the Jabal Al-Nasr neighborhood, forcibly displacing its residents and giving them only minutes to leave, coinciding with the firing of live ammunition and sound bombs to intimidate and terrorize them.

In the Tulkarem camp, the occupation forces raided empty homes and shops along Al-Wakalah Street after breaking and blowing their doors open, while firing live bullets at homes in areas near the Al-Matar and Al-Hadaida neighborhoods to terrorize the residents who remained in their homes.

Since the first day of the IOF aggression, there has been significant displacement among the residents of Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, including women, children, the elderly, and the sick, with more than 16,000 displaced persons seeking shelter in centers and the homes of relatives in the city of Tulkarem and its suburbs.

The occupation forces have directly targeted the infrastructure of the city and the camps, destroying roads, water, electricity, sewage, and communication networks, making daily life increasingly difficult.
