The local branch of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in Iran's Khorasan Razavi Province has confirmed the martyrdom of two members of the Basij volunteer force in an attack by unknown assailants in the holy city of Mashhad.
AhlulBayt News Agency: On the anniversary of the establishment of the Basij Mostazafin, the Basij Day ceremony was held at Imam Khomeini (ra) Hussainiyah with the presence of thousands of Basij members from across the country on November 26, 2025.
Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Basij forces, reaffirmed the central role of resistance in preserving the dignity and success of Iran and the broader Islamic world. Speaking at a memorial ceremony in Shiraz honoring Masoumeh Karbasi—the first Iranian female martyr of the Qods Front—Soleimani emphasized that the path of resistance remains a strategic and spiritual imperative.
