The Kurdish-language Rudaw news agency reported that Hashd al-Shaabi has unearthed ten mass graves in the Izadi villages of Siba Sheikh Khedr, Kojo and Kazar Kasi.

Rudaw further said that three mass graves were found in Siba Sheikh Khedr, two in Kazar Kasi and five others in Kojo, adding that each contains tens of bodies of Izadi people killed by the ISIS terrorists.

Tahsin Qassem, one of the commanders of Hashd al-Shaabi, said that discovering more mass graves in the region is expected.

The Izadi villages in Western Nineveh whose residents have been captured by the ISIS or have fled the region, are abandoned.

Hashd al-Shaabi has recently taken control over 13 Izadi villages in al-Qirwan region.

On Monday, Secretary General of Hashd al-Shaabi (Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces) Hadi al-Ameri announced that his forces deployed at the country's borders with Syria, adding that the popular forces would soon launch an anti-ISIS cleansing operation along the border.

Al-Ameri said that Hashd al-Shaabi fighters opened their way to Iraq's border with Syria, adding that the forces deployed in the border village of Um Jaris.

"We are now in this region (Um Jaris) that is a border-crossing with Syria," al-Ameri said, adding, "Cleansing operation at Iraq's border with Syria from Um Jaris up to the town of al-Qa'em will be kicked off tomorrow."
