Prominent Saudi Shia scholar 'Sheikh Hasan al-Saffar' posted in his website a statement to warn people from the dangerous of terrorism.

In the name of Allah the Merciful the Beneficent
Terrorism has exposed itself and the entire people now realized its aims which are serving foreign political agendas. Its violence practices including slaughtering, bloodshed, captivity of women and stir panic among innocents distorted the image of Islam around the world. Terrorism also spread chaos and disorder in Muslim countries through destroying developmental projects there.
It spreads the culture of fighting and strife among citizens who will suffer from its extensive consequences.
The rapid expansion of terrorist organizations in many countries, their enormous potentials and their ability to fool and lure young people pose serious challenges facing the nation and religion in this era.
This threat can be faced through declaring emergency at various political, cultural and social levels with the cooperation of governments, religious leaders and intellectuals regardless of their doctrine because terrorism threatens the existence of nations, their future as well as world peace.
From here, we have to realize the importance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques initiative for the nation and the world to stand in front of this danger. Governments, international institutions and societies should take the responsibilities and start to implement practical plans and programs and exceed all their problems to confront this danger which threatens all people.
