Ahlul Bayt (AS) International News Agency - ABNA: ABNA correspondent Ali reported from Najaf, standing outside the religious school where Imam Khomeini, the first Supreme Leader of Iran, was exiled for almost 14 years.
He explained that this is a religious school, just like many others around the city of Najaf and in Qom, where students live for many years in order to learn what they need to learn.
Ali noted that Imam Khomeini was exiled here and was offered many comforts, including air conditioning, but he refused to go to another place and refused the air conditioning because many of the religious students who study here do not have these conveniences, and he did not want to be any different from them.
He emphasized that from this very place, this very beautiful and old place, Imam Khomeini changed the world and started what he described as a new world order.
Ali observed that the renovations of that movement are visible right now in the world, and the path that began here, very close, actually 50 meters away from the entrance to the Imam Ali shrine, right around the corner, would go on to change the whole world.
