Malaysian PM: Kharrazi Was a Dignified and Rare Diplomat

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, expressing grief over the martyrdom of Dr. Kamal Kharrazi, the head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, described him as a dignified and rare diplomat and wrote in a message of condolence to his family and the people of Iran, "The world has lost a distinguished diplomat."

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Anwar Ibrahim, referring to his acquaintance with Kharrazi, stated, "I first met Dr. Kharrazi during his tenure as Iran's representative to the United Nations in New York, and this friendship continued throughout his distinguished tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs."

The Malaysian Prime Minister added, "The world has lost a distinguished diplomat, and I have lost a dear friend. I extend my sincerest condolences to his family and the people of Iran." These remarks were published in a message on his official Facebook page.

Anwar Ibrahim also emphasized that Kharrazi's death is a stark reminder of the heavy costs of this conflict and stressed the necessity of ending the war.

According to this report, Dr. Kamal Kharrazi, 81, the head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was martyred on Thursday, April 1, due to injuries sustained from the terrorist aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran.
