ABNA24 -- Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei has expressed condolences over the martyrdom of the head of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization, Brigadier General Majid Khademi, who has been assassinated in a US-Israeli airstrike on Iran.
“Throughout his service, Martyr Seyyed MajidKhademi was a source of goodness and blessings for Iran’s intelligence community and left behind enduring achievements in this field,” Mohseni-Ejei wrote in his message on Monday.
The successive intelligence and operational defeats imposed at strategic levels on the aggressive enemy by the country’s intelligence community led by the Ministry of Intelligence and the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization under the leadership of Minster of Intelligence Esmaeil Khatib, Martyr Mohammad Kazemi, and Martyr Khademi made the enemy to see no solution but to assassinate these dedicated and elite forces, he added.
“Major General Khademi, a powerful and erudite commander achieved the great honor of martyrdom in the American-Zionist terrorist attack,” announced the public relations office of the IRGC in a statement on Monday.
Hailing the role of the distinguished general, the statement read that he served the Islamic Republic for about half a century in intelligence and security domains, sincerely and courageously.
It said Khademi has left behind a significant, lasting, and instructive legacy that could guide the country’s intelligence community for years to come, especially in dealing with foreign enemies and their evil plots to create instability in Iran.
