AhlulBayt News Agency: Renowned religious leader Maulana Saif Abbas has issued a statement strongly condemning Israel's attack on Iran. He stated that Iran is a peace-loving country, and the way Israel has attacked it is nothing short of an assault on humanity. The whole world must strongly denounce this act.
Saif Abbas alleged that Israel enjoys open support from the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, and that the oppressed Iranian people are being targeted in these attacks while the global community remains a silent spectator. He added that the true faces of Israel and the United States have now been fully exposed in the terrorism being spread across the world.
He also appealed to the Indian government to ensure the safe return of thousands of stranded Indian pilgrims. He explained that many Indian citizens who had gone on a pilgrimage to Iran and Iraq are now stranded due to the closure of air routes caused by the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. These include women, the elderly, and the sick, whose condition is deteriorating by the day.
President of the Shia Markazi Chand Committee said that they are receiving messages from many pilgrims who are ill and have run out of essential medicines. If immediate action is not taken, the situation could become severe. He has written a letter to India’s Foreign Minister, requesting that either these pilgrims be airlifted back like in the case of Ukraine, or that diplomatic efforts be made with Iran, Iraq, and Israel to secure and reopen the air routes.
